Paul, You'll never know how much you have excited a young man into exploring music as you have with my son. From the moment that you gave your CD to him last summer, he has played it just about everyday, including all day every day during his Christmas vacation. He now wants to be a professional musician .... HELP! Just kidding - thank you for your kindness to my son - you have made a huge impact on a young man's life.

Hi Mr. Reeves, I was a young kid when I was in your band and now I'm fast-approaching middle age. Wow, how did that happen? Anyway, my family and I just finished listening to your "Christmas Vibes" CD - it's awesome! Some of the nuances that you put in took me back to our East MS days when you would demonstrate various techniques for us. Thank you for everything!

Mr. Reeves! Hey I didn't see Michigan Center in your bio, but that is a forgivable omission. I've tried to find you on & off for years. Thank you for everything you did for me as a kid. I went on to study Jazz at University of TN with Jerry Coker, and have thought of you often in my travels. Chad

Hey Paul - Your "In The City" original cut is going to be a hit for you. Fresh and cutting edge with hard driving bass and drums - Keep up the "BOSS" work.

I first met Paul in Detroit playing in a jazz quartet (sax, piano, bass and drums). I thought he was a remarkable drummer then, and this was nearly 30 years ago! I later joined his group on bass for about half a dozen years. Paul's work on vibes is nothing short of stellar. He's what Alexander Zonjic is to flute, or Bela Fleck to banjo. Well worth a listen...Enjoy!

What a surprise to find your name popping up on my computer screen! I was searching information for my family tree and I typed in a search for Don's son, Paul. Well, the combination of "Paul" and "Hanson" combined and found it's way to you! I just wanted to say "Hi". I retired from Michigan Center in June of 2007 - not my choice, but I had been sick and they found a way to eliminate my high pay level and bring in a young teacher. I got over it after a while - and I'm now working in the office of a driver education company. It's fun - and no evening rehearsals! Ron and I have been married for 10 years now. We both talk of you often and what a terrific job you did at Michigan Center. I still refer to you as "Rookie" - I guess that will never change. (Don influenced both of us!) I hope all is well with you. Drop a line if you get a chance! Marti

Hey Paul, I finally got a chance to listen to your Vibes in the Night" CD. Excellent work overall, but I particularly enjoyed your cymbal work on Miles' "Seven Steps to Heaven"!! In the pocket and be-boppin' all the way! J
